Filename Convention
TruEarth®
1km IMAGE FILENAME CONVENTION.
All
TruEarth® 1km imagery is delivered in the Targa image file format (.TGA). Depending
upon the level of detail, the image may be cut up into several image
tiles, each of which joins seamlessly with with its neighboring image
tiles. To fully define the type of TruEarth® 1km image contained within a
file, the image filename is created based on several attributes of the
image. The standard
TruEarth® 1km filename format is PPVVRRTT.TGA, where,
PP
= Product description
VV = Version number
RR = Resolution ID
TT = Image tile number
Each field of the image filename is determined as follows:
