Specifying
your TruEarth® coverage area for price quotes
TruEarth®
15-meter imagery is provided in
1° x 1° drop-in GeoTIFF image tiles, each with 7,200 x 7,200 pixels.
The entire global dataset comprises over 23,000 image tiles. In many
coastal areas, TruEarth® 15-meter imagery extends into the ocean. We will provide, but not charge for, ocean tiles
(less than 5% land area) that are included in your coverage area. In
order to provide your price quote, we need to know your coverage area of
interest. You may provide this information in one of two ways:

By
providing the upper-left and lower-right latitude-longitude
coordinates of your area of interest or,
-
By
providing a list of desired tiles.
Tiles
cover whole-numbered latitude-longitude areas, such as N30 to N29
latitude, W106 to W105 longitude. For tile lists, please provide the
upper-left latitude-longitude coordinates for each desired tile (N42W106,
for example).
You can use the TruEarth®
TruViewer™ to see geographic coordinates along with
TruEarth®
tile boundaries.
